Our Story
Meet & Whiskey lives inside Porkchop Edgewater on North Broadway — a stretch of Chicago that rewards the curious. We opened with a simple conviction: that a great drink doesn't need pretension to be exceptional.
By day, we pull specialty coffee with the same attention most bars reserve for cocktails. By night, our whiskey program takes center stage — a rotating selection spanning single malts, small-batch bourbons, ryes, and international expressions, all poured with precision and paired with genuine hospitality.
Whether you're grabbing a morning pour or settling in for an evening conversation, we believe the details matter: the glass you drink from, the temperature of your space, and the person behind the counter who actually cares.
What We Pour
We treat morning coffee like a craft ritual. Single-origin pour-overs, espresso pulled to order, and seasonal specials that change with the roaster's latest release. No shortcuts. No rush.
Our shelf is a conversation, not a trophy case. We stock what's interesting, what's well-made, and what you haven't tried yet — from Kentucky bourbon to Islay single malt, Japanese rye to small-distillery finds.
The Space
The space is intentionally scaled — large enough to host a group, small enough that you're never shouting over the crowd. Exposed brick, warm wood, and lighting that does the talking after 8 p.m.
It's a neighborhood spot first. Locals know us. Visitors discover us. Either way, you'll find a seat that fits and a welcome that does too.
